🚨 Breaking (27 जुलाई 2026) | PIB PRID: 2289887: Lok Sabha में Minister Jayant Chaudhary ने PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs) को Centrally Sponsored Scheme के रूप में confirm किया। ₹60,000 करोड़ investment — 1,000 Government ITIs upgrade होंगे — 200 Hub + 800 Spoke model। Focus: Industry-led governance और employability outcomes।

UP के Gorakhpur के रहने वाले अरुण — 10वीं के बाद ITI में Electrician trade join किया। लेकिन पुरानी machines, outdated curriculum। Job नहीं मिली।

उनके छोटे भाई की बात करें — वो अभी ITI join करने वाले हैं। PM-SETU के बाद उनके ITI में upgraded labs होंगे, AI और Drone के नए courses होंगे, Industry से directly link होगा।

यही बदलाव है PM-SETU का।

PM-SETU क्यों बना — ITI की असली problem

भारत में 13,888 से ज़्यादा ITIs हैं। लेकिन सच्चाई यह है:

• पुरानी Machines और Labs — 20-30 साल पुरानी equipment
• Outdated Curriculum — Industry की ज़रूरत से मेल नहीं
• Industry Linkage नहीं — ITI pass करके job नहीं मिलती
• AI, Robotics जैसे future skills — बहुत कम ITIs में
• Faculty Quality — experienced trainers की कमी

PMKVY 1.0 से 3.0 तक 1.11 करोड़ candidates certified हुए। लेकिन placement rate satisfactory नहीं रही।

PM-SETU इसी problem का solution है। ₹60,000 करोड़ से — 1,000 ITIs को industry-ready बनाना।

Hub ITIs — 200

Spoke ITIs — 800

Connection:

Hub → Spoke में resources, faculty, curriculum, placements सब flow होगा। एक Hub — कई Spokes को serve करेगा।

Step 2: अपना State और Trade select करो

Step 4: Merit list के according Admission
