📌 अपडेट (मई 2026): 31 करोड़+ असंगठित मज़दूर और 5 लाख+ Gig & Platform Workers ई-श्रम पोर्टल पर registered हो चुके हैं। 14 Central schemes integrate हो चुकी हैं। पोर्टल अब 22 Indian languages में available है — Bhashini project के through।

क्या आप daily wage worker हैं, construction laborer हैं, घरेलू कामगार हैं, street vendor हैं या gig worker हैं? तो ई-श्रम पोर्टल (e-Shram Portal) पर registration करना आपके लिए सबसे ज़रूरी काम है।

e-Shram Card एक government identity card है असंगठित workers के लिए — जो lifetime UAN, ₹2 लाख accident insurance और central government welfare schemes तक access देता है।

Ministry of Labour & Employment ने e-Shram portal 26 August 2021 को launch किया — Aadhaar-seeded comprehensive National Database of Unorganised Workers (NDUW) बनाने के लिए।

December 2025 तक 31 करोड़+ असंगठित मज़दूर और 5 लाख+ Gig workers registered हो चुके हैं।

📊 ई-श्रम पोर्टल 2026 — एक नज़र में

🎯 ई-श्रम पोर्टल क्या है?

e-Shram portal first-ever national database है असंगठित workers का — जिसमें migrant workers, construction workers, gig और platform workers शामिल हैं। इसे Aadhaar के साथ seed किया गया है।

किसके लिए है e-Shram?

e-Shram domestic workers, farm labour, gig workers, construction labour, hawkers, drivers, MSME workers — यानी कोई भी जो organised sector (PF/ESI) में नहीं है — के लिए है।

Examples:

• ✅ निर्माण मज़दूर — राजमिस्त्री, बढ़ई, लेबर
• ✅ घरेलू कामगार — cook, cleaner, driver
• ✅ प्रवासी मज़दूर — किसी भी state में काम करने वाले
• ✅ Street Vendors / Hawkers
• ✅ किसान और खेत मज़दूर
• ✅ Gig Workers — Swiggy, Zomato, Ola, Uber drivers
• ✅ ASHA/Anganwadi Workers
• ✅ Fisherfolk — मछुआरे

🆕 Gig Workers — 2025-26 का बड़ा Update

31 करोड़ असंगठित workers के अलावा 5 लाख से अधिक Gig & Platform Workers अब e-Shram portal पर registered हैं।

Gig Workers = Swiggy delivery, Ola/Uber driver, Zomato rider, Urban Company worker आदि।

2025-26 में e-Shram का Gig Workers तक extension एक major policy shift है — पहले ये formally covered नहीं थे।

Gig Workers को e-Shram से क्या मिलेगा:

• ✅ Official government recognition
• ✅ PMSBY ₹2 लाख accident cover
• ✅ Future social security schemes access
• ✅ DBT benefits eligibility

🪪 UAN — Universal Account Number क्या है?

Registration के बाद 12-digit UAN (Universal Account Number) मिलता है — जो lifetime valid रहता है।

UAN = आपका permanent worker identity:

• Lifetime valid — कभी expire नहीं होता
• Details update होती रहती हैं — UAN same
• Digital + Physical card दोनों available
• Government schemes में automatically linked

🛡️ PMSBY — ₹2 लाख Insurance Free

e-Shram पर registered workers को PMSBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana) में automatically enroll किया जाता है — पहले साल का premium Ministry of Labour & Employment pay करती है।

First year के बाद ₹20/वर्ष auto-debit — June 1 के आसपास।

पहला साल बिल्कुल मुफ्त। उसके बाद सिर्फ ₹20/वर्ष।

🔗 14 Linked Schemes — क्या-क्या मिलेगा?

14 schemes of different Central Ministries already integrated हैं — social security, health benefits और welfare schemes तक access के लिए।

इनमें शामिल हैं: PM-SVANidhi, PMSBY, PMJJBY, PMAY-G, PMAY-U, Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, और MGNREGS।

🌐 22 Languages — January 2025 Update

MeitY के Bhashini project से e-Shram portal को upgrade किया गया — 22 Indian languages में available।

भाषाएं: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Urdu, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Nepali, Konkani, Kashmiri, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Bodo।

📝 Registration कैसे करें — Step by Step

Method 1: eshram.gov.in पर Online (सबसे आसान)

Step 1: eshram.gov.in खोलें

Step 2: “Register on e-Shram” button click करें

Step 3: Aadhaar-linked mobile number enter करें

Step 4: OTP verify करें

Step 5: Aadhaar number enter करें → OTP से Aadhaar verify करें

Step 6: Personal details fill करें:

• नाम, DOB, gender
• Address (current + permanent)
• Occupation/Work Type — correctly चुनें
• Education level
• Income

Step 7: Bank Account details enter करें — DBT के लिए

Step 8: Nominee declare करें — PMSBY claim के लिए

Step 9: Submit → 12-digit UAN instantly generate

Step 10: e-Shram Card download करें — PDF format

Method 2: CSC Centre से

नज़दीकी Common Service Centre (CSC) पर जाएं — fee ₹20-30 (operator charge)। Operator eKYC + form fill करेगा। Card same day।

⚠️ Official registration बिल्कुल free है। CSC operator fee nominal service charge है।

Method 3: UMANG App से

Government ने UMANG App पर e-Shram available किया है — mobile से convenient registration।

UMANG App download → e-Shram search → Register।

⚠️ Aadhaar Mobile Linked नहीं है?

अगर mobile Aadhaar से linked नहीं है — online registration possible नहीं। CSC centre जाएं — वहाँ biometric fingerprint scan से eKYC होगी।

📱 e-Shram Card Download कैसे करें?

Registration के बाद

1. eshram.gov.in → “Already Registered” click करें
2. UAN या registered mobile enter करें
3. OTP verify करें
4. Dashboard पर “Download UAN Card” click करें
5. PDF format में card download होगा

Card में क्या होगा?

• 12-digit UAN Number
• Worker का नाम और photo
• Aadhaar-verified mark
• QR Code — verify करने के लिए
• Registration details

🔄 Profile Update कैसे करें?

eshram.gov.in → “Already Registered? Update” → UAN या mobile enter → OTP verify → profile update। Address, occupation, bank account, nominee details, और income — सब update हो सकता है। UAN same रहता है।

🔗 VB-G RAM G और e-Shram Connection

VB-G RAM G (1 July 2026 से) और e-Shram का integration:

• e-Shram registered migrants → automatically VB-G RAM G eligible
• Job Card application में e-Shram UAN helpful
• MGNREGS scheme → already e-Shram से linked → VB-G RAM G में continue
• 125 दिन employment + ₹2 लाख PMSBY — दोनों एक registration से

अगर आपने अभी तक e-Shram register नहीं किया → July 1 से पहले करें — VB-G RAM G benefits के लिए।

⚠️ Common Problems और Solutions

1. ❌ Aadhaar OTP नहीं आ रहा

समाधान: Mobile Aadhaar से linked है? UIDAI website पर check करें। नहीं है तो CSC से biometric registration।

2. ❌ “Already Registered” error

समाधान: पहले से registered हो सकते हैं। UAN retrieve करें — eshram.gov.in → “Know Your UAN”।

3. ❌ Bank account details गलत हो गईं

समाधान: Login → Profile Update → Bank Account correct करें। DBT के लिए bank Aadhaar से NPCI linked होनी चाहिए।

4. ❌ PMSBY premium नहीं कटा

समाधान: June में bank account में ₹20 balance ensure करें। Lapse होने पर bank से renewal करवाएं।

5. ❌ PF/ESI वाले register नहीं कर सकते

समाधान: e-Shram केवल unorganised workers के लिए। EPFO/ESIC member हैं तो eligible नहीं।
